Here’s Health Net/Maxxis Pro Cycling Team's
Doug Ollerenshaw putting in some quality time on
E-motion. Doug was recovering from a broken hip and was
off the bike for 3 weeks, then was advised not to ride
outdoors for another 3 weeks. But he wasn’t stuck on
some crummy trainer…he spent some serious time at the
OFC facility on our SuperTrainer and followed up at home
with E-motion trainer rides.
Which device did he
prefer?
“Well, the SUPERTRAINER is incredible and
played a major part in my recovery…but you can’t take it
home with you. When I first brought the rollers home, I
wasn’t sure what to expect. For me, one hour on a
regular trainer is a major challenge. But I have to say,
I rode the E-motions for up to 2 hrs at a time and still
didn’t mind it. There’s just something more natural and
engaging than other trainers or rollers…it’s easy to
spend time on them.”

Maxxis riders use E-Motion rollers to warm-up for races
at 2006 Mt Hood Cycling Classic and Willamette Classic
Stage Races.
Think there’s some major wattage
flowing here? Oh yeah… these guys could power a whole
city! Greg Henderson rides right down the middle and
Nathan O’neill plays pinball against the side wheels
(when the team director is not watching!)
Henderson went on to win the stage and O’neill
won the overall GC. |
